WELCOME
Fort Bend Writers Guild is an active Houston, Texas area
writers group. Weekly meetings are held every Monday at Barnes
& Noble - Sugar Land from 7 to 9 p.m. Visitors are welcome
on a one-time basis. After that, membership is required.
Our weekly critique MEETINGS
are devoted to helping each other polish manuscripts for
publication. Our members are writing what is best described as
"mass market" and "genre" novels,
including mystery, romance, historical, women's interests,
sci-fi, young adult, and children's stories. Almost all genre
are welcome.
In addition to weekly
meetings, Fort Bend Writers Guild sponsors writers WORKSHOPS and writing
CONTESTS.
We usually have a Christmas season social gathering for
members and their significant others.

2008 FALL WORKSHOP
The Fall 2008 Workshop will feature novelist and free-lance
writer, Robert
Cremins. Robert has published two novels, Send
in the Devils and A Sort of Homecoming, and
is currently at work on his third. He is an experienced writer and teacher of writing.
