The Denton Writers League is a group of readers, and published and unpublished writers who help each other hone their craft through external critique groups, guest speakers, and workshops. The League meets the 2nd Saturday of each month at 10:30 a.m. in Denton TX in the Emily Fowler Branch of the Denton Library located at 502 Oakland St. Dues are $15 a year. |

Crystalwizard is both a writer and a graphic artist. She started writing in her
Junior year of high school. At the time, she'd read everything the school
library had that interested her, so it just seemed natural to write what she
wanted to read, since no one else was. She says that being a writer is a lot
like living on a wild roller coaster. Sometimes all she can do is hang on for
the ride while the story pours out of her fingers, and sometimes she have to
fight tooth and nail for every letter! She wouldn't trade it for anything in the
world, bu it sure would be nice if inspiration didn't insist on hitting her
after the lights were out and she was half-asleep so often! Flower Mound Writers Group group meets at: Flower Mound Public Library Meetings start at 7:00 PM and general run 90 minutes. For calendar of meeting days and events, please
